Patna: Divya Prakash, who achieved 99% from St Xavier's High School in Class X, aspires to pursue computer science engineering from a prestigious IIT. He attributed his outstanding performance in the ICSE exams, announced by CISCE on Thursday, to a consistent study routine. Divya studied six to seven hours daily throughout the year, increasing it to eight to ten hours in the final three months before the exams. Relying on school notes and regular revision, he credited his success to his parents' unwavering support. Son of Deepak Kumar, chief engineer (commercial) at North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd, and Swati Bhadani, he scored 100 in social studies and computer applications, 99 in science, 98 each in mathematics and English, and 97 in Hindi.
Another Topper: Rounit Raj
Rounit Raj of St Paul's High School also secured 99% and plans to pursue science, crack JEE, and enter an IIT. Rounit studied six to seven hours daily, maintaining detailed notes and consistent revision, and credited his parents and teachers for his success.
Arts Stream Achievers
Nidhi, who scored 98% in the arts stream from St Joseph's Convent High School, plans to study political science and prepare for UPSC. She studied six to seven hours daily with regular revision. Daughter of advocate Mrityunjay Tiwari and Chandana Pandey, Nidhi scored 99 each in political science and history, 97 each in English and Hindi, and 91 in economics. She said, 'I am preparing for the CUET and my goal is to get admission in a prominent college of DU or BHU.'
Science Stream: Deboshree
Deboshree of Carmel High School scored 97% in the science stream and aims to pursue BTech and research. She studied 10 to 12 hours daily, following a strict routine and ensuring thorough understanding of every topic.
Law Aspirant: Devam Paliwal
Devam Paliwal of Don Bosco Academy secured 96% in arts and achieved AIR 724 in CLAT, earning admission to Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. He shared, 'During the summer vacation, while preparing for the school's sent-up examinations, I utilised that time to cover the majority of the CLAT syllabus. After the summer vacation, I dedicated 6-7 hours to school studies and 3-4 hours daily to CLAT preparation.'
