Pune FYJC Round 1 Sees Only 4.51 Lakh Confirmations Amid 12.51 Lakh Registrations
Pune FYJC Round 1: 4.51 Lakh Confirmations Out of 12.51 Lakh Registrations

In the first round of the First Year Junior College (FYJC) centralised admission process in Pune, only 4.51 lakh students confirmed their admissions by the deadline on Wednesday. This figure stands in stark contrast to the 12.51 lakh students who had initially registered online for the process, against a total intake capacity of 17.42 lakh seats across junior colleges in the region.

Second Round Details

The second round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is scheduled to commence on June 6. Students will have the opportunity to correct or modify Parts 1 and 2 of their application forms online from June 6 at 8 am until June 9 at 6 pm.

Preference List and Cut-off Marks

Officials from the CAP committee have urged students to carefully fill in their preference list, selecting at least one and up to a maximum of ten junior colleges. They advise comparing their Class X marks with the cut-off marks of their desired colleges, as well as considering the available vacancies at those institutions. The cut-off list and vacancy details are accessible on the official website.

Allotment and Confirmation Timeline

The second allotment list will be announced on June 13 at 10 am. Students can check if they have been allotted a college by logging into the portal. Those who receive allotments must confirm their admissions between June 13 at 12 noon and June 16 at 6 pm.

Mandatory Form Locking

Since admission forms for all students will be unlocked during this round, it is mandatory for every student to lock their forms (Parts I and II) to remain eligible for subsequent rounds. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from further allotments.

Support and Assistance

Students encountering any issues while filling out their forms can seek assistance by emailing support@mahafyjcadmissions.in or calling the helpline at 8530955564.
