Jhansi: Rishab Sahu, a student from the rural Jhansi district, has achieved an impressive 97.33% in the UP Board high school results announced on Thursday, securing the third position in the state.

Academic Achievement and Background

Rishab studies at Lord Krishna Public High School in Uldan and travels nearly 10 kilometers daily from his village Palra in Bangra block to attend classes. Despite the daily commute, his dedication has paid off with this outstanding performance.

Overjoyed with his success, Rishab expressed his aspiration to study at a prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) after completing his intermediate education. His father, Mukesh Sahu, a mathematics teacher at a government school in Ranipur, takes immense pride in his son's accomplishment.

Credit and Preparation

"I give full credit to my parents, teachers, and principal for guiding me in my academics," Rishab said. He added that he devoted seven to eight hours daily to prepare for his board examinations.
