TBSE HS, Madhyamik Results Likely by May 10, 2026

Agartala: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) is expected to announce the results for the Higher Secondary (+2) and Madhyamik (Class 10) examinations for the year 2026 by May 10, according to its president, Professor Dhananjay Ganchoudhuri.

Exam Participation

This year, a total of 26,502 students, including 14,145 female candidates, appeared for the Higher Secondary exams conducted from February 25 to March 30. Similarly, the Madhyamik exams, held between February 26 and March 24, saw 32,184 students participating, of whom 17,415 were girls.

Reason for Delay

In contrast to last year, when results were published on April 30, the announcement this year has been postponed. The delay is attributed to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections, which took place on April 12, followed by vote counting on April 17. Professor Ganchoudhuri noted that over a hundred evaluators were assigned to polling duties, temporarily interrupting the evaluation process for about a week and impacting result preparation.

Evaluation Process

To ensure accuracy and efficiency, experienced teachers were selected as examiners for both sets of exams. Evaluations were conducted at six centers in Agartala under strict supervision. The evaluation process was completed on April 26, after which the preparation of results began in earnest. Professor Ganchoudhuri assured that the TBSE team is working diligently to complete and publish the results as soon as possible.

Students and parents are advised to check the official TBSE website for updates. The board aims to release the results by May 10, maintaining transparency and timeliness.
