Arrest Details
According to police, a team from Sindhora police station, led by sub-inspector Shwetanshu Pandey, conducted a raid in Piyari village in the Chaubepur area and arrested the 18-year-old accused. He was wanted in connection with an impersonation case during the Class XII exam held at SB Inter College, Bunchi, on March 6, 2025.
Investigation Findings
Investigations revealed that the accused, identified as Narayan, had appeared in the examination in place of his friend, a resident of Fattepur village. During the examination, the invigilator noticed that the photograph on the admit card did not match the one on the Aadhaar card. On verification, it was found that the candidate was impersonating another examinee.
