The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially released the preliminary answer key and response sheets for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET) 2026 on May 29, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their recorded responses through the official website and compare them with the preliminary key to estimate their scores.
Examination Details
The TG ICET 2026 was conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of TGCHE. This entrance test is a prerequisite for admission into MBA and MCA programmes offered by various colleges across the state of Telangana. The computer-based test was held across multiple sessions.
Importance of the Preliminary Answer Key
The release of the response sheets and master question papers enables candidates to calculate their probable raw scores before the final results are announced. This step is crucial in the admission process as it allows students to identify any discrepancies in the answer key. TGCHE has also opened an online objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the preliminary key. After reviewing all objections, the council will publish the final answer key.
