Lucknow University will open its application window on Thursday for admission to the MBA in Pharmaceutical Management program for the 2026–27 academic session. The program offers 60 seats and admission will be based on a General Aptitude Test.
Program Structure and Eligibility
This two-year postgraduate program is structured across four semesters. According to LU officials, the course will be offered by the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Eligible candidates must hold a B.Pharm, B.Tech (Chemical Engineering), Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, B.Sc (Chemistry), or M.Sc degree, with a minimum of 50% marks for the General category and 45% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories.
Industry-Centric Curriculum
The course curriculum incorporates industry-centric subjects such as Pharmaceutical International Business, Pharmaceutical Product Development, Pharmaceutical Brand Management, and Biomedical Devices. These subjects are designed to equip students with the commercial skills required to lead in the dynamic pharma and biotech sectors.
“An MBA in Pharmaceutical Management bridges the gap between healthcare science and business. After pursuing the course, the graduates have the commercial skills required to lead in the dynamic pharma and biotech sectors,” said LU spokesperson Mukul Srivasatva.
