NABARD Young Professional 2025 Recruitment Begins

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has officially commenced its recruitment drive for the Young Professionals (YP) Programme for the 2025-26 cycle. This initiative offers a prestigious contractual opportunity for young Indian citizens to engage in critical work related to rural development and agricultural policy.

NABARD YP 2025: Key Eligibility and Programme Details

Prospective candidates must be Indian nationals between 21 and 30 years of age as of 1 November 2025. The engagement is initially for a period of one year, but it can be extended up to a maximum of three years, depending on the individual's performance and the organization's needs.

The selected Young Professionals will receive a handsome monthly stipend of ₹70,000, which is an all-inclusive amount. It is important to note that applicable taxes will be deducted at source from this stipend.

All educational qualifications and work experience must be valid and finalized by the crucial cutoff date of 1 November 2025. Candidates whose final exam results are declared after this date will not be eligible to apply.

Application Process and Critical Instructions

Aspiring candidates must apply exclusively through the official NABARD website (www.nabard.org). Applications sent via any other mode will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Selection Procedure and Important Timeline

The NABARD YP selection process for 2025 is a two-tier system. The first stage involves a screening of applications by a committee. This screening will be based on academic records, relevant work experience, the candidate's overall profile, and the submitted statement of intent.

Those who clear the initial screening will be called to appear before the Young Professional Selection Committee (YPSC). This final stage consists of a presentation and a personal interview. Any final offer of engagement is contingent upon the candidate being declared medically fit by NABARD-appointed medical officers.

Applicants must strictly adhere to the following schedule:

Start of online application registration: 26 December 2025

Last date to submit or edit applications: 12 January 2026

Online fee payment window: 26 December 2025 to 12 January 2026

Last date to print application: 27 January 2026

This programme is designed to provide exceptional exposure to policy research, programme evaluation, and strategic initiatives at the heart of India's rural development framework. Eligible and motivated candidates are encouraged to apply before the deadline.
