In a major update for job seekers, the RRB has pushed the last date for online registration for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment under CEN 05/2025. Applicants can now complete and submit their forms until 10 December 2025, up to 11:59 PM. This move comes after the initial deadline was set for 30 November 2025.
Alongside the extension, the board has confirmed the total number of available positions. The recruitment drive now aims to fill 2,588 vacancies across three key technical roles:
- Junior Engineer (JE)
- Depot Material Superintendent (DMS)
- Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA)
All selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹35,400, corresponding to Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Interested and eligible candidates must apply exclusively through the official online portals. The primary website for application is rrbapply.gov.in. Applicants can also use the websites of their respective regional Railway Recruitment Boards.
The application fee structure is as follows:
- ₹500 for candidates belonging to General, Other Backward Class (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories.
- ₹250 for candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) categories, and all female applicants.
It is crucial to note that the final date for the payment of the application fee is 12 December 2025. The submission of the online form must be completed by 10 December, while the fee payment can be finalized two days later.
