SSC Revises CPO SI Final Result 2024: 76 New Candidates Allocated Posts
SSC Revises CPO SI Final Result 2024: Key Updates

The Staff Selection Commission has taken corrective action by publishing a revised final result for the Central Police Organisation Sub-Inspector recruitment drive for the 2024-25 cycle. This development comes after the discovery of significant discrepancies in the original data provided to the commission.

Why SSC Revised the Final Results

The Commission initially declared the final outcome on October 20, 2025, recommending 5,296 candidates for appointment to Sub-Inspector positions across Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces. This initial selection included 455 female candidates and 4,841 male candidates.

However, following the declaration, the SSC identified inconsistencies in the Document Verification, Detailed Medical Examination, and Review Medical Examination data supplied by the Border Security Force, which served as the nodal force for the recruitment process.

After conducting a thorough review, the Commission confirmed the presence of discrepancies in the data that had been used to prepare the original merit list. In the interest of maintaining fairness and transparency, and to ensure that no genuinely qualified candidate faced adverse consequences, the SSC decided to publish a revised final result.

Key Changes in the Revised Merit List

The re-evaluation process has led to several important modifications in the final allocation of candidates:

76 candidates who were not allocated any posts in the original result have now been included in the revised merit list and allocated positions.

12 candidates who were previously allocated positions have been removed from the revised result because they failed to meet the eligibility conditions specified in the original examination notice.

178 candidates have experienced changes to their earlier allocation or status, with the Commission noting that this includes 177 candidates, excluding one withheld case.

The Commission has clarified that the revised list recommends candidates exceeding the notified vacancies to ensure that no eligible candidate from the original result faces disqualification as a result of the rectification process.
