The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has officially commenced the admission process for its postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session 2026-27. Aspiring candidates can now submit their applications through the university's dedicated admission portal at acad.uohyd.ac.in. The final date for submitting applications for PG admissions is June 8, 2026.
Admission Criteria Based on CUET PG 2026
For the majority of postgraduate courses, admissions will be determined by the candidates' performance in the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026. The entrance examination was conducted from March 6 to March 27, and the results were announced on April 24. This year, a total of 7.14 lakh candidates registered for CUET PG, with over 5 lakh actually appearing for the test. The examination covered 157 subjects across multiple shifts nationwide. General Management and Political Science were among the most popular subjects. The test was held in 43 shifts, each paper lasting 90 minutes. The number of examination centres was reduced from 312 in the previous year to 292 this year, of which 272 were located in India and 16 in overseas cities.
