The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) is set to announce the JAC Board Class 12 Result 2026 shortly. Over 3.75 lakh students who appeared for the Intermediate examinations across Arts, Science, and Commerce streams are eagerly awaiting their scores.
Exam Schedule and Result Availability
The Intermediate examinations were conducted from February 3 to February 23, 2026. Practical examinations concluded between February 24 and March 7, 2026. Students will be able to access their results on the official websites jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com once the scorecards are activated. Additionally, the board may provide results via SMS services and DigiLocker to offer alternative access for candidates facing heavy internet traffic.
How to Check the Result
Candidates can visit the official board website and click on the JAC 12th Result 2026 link on the homepage. They need to enter their roll number and roll code, as printed on their admit card, to view their marks. Students can also register for score update services to receive text message notifications when results are declared. A direct link to check and download the JAC 12th result will be provided once announced.
Scrutiny Process
For students dissatisfied with their scores, the board offers an online scrutiny application process. The scrutiny process will commence in June 2026. Candidates seeking re-assessment must pay a fee of Rs 750 per subject. Scrutiny involves cross-verification of errors in summation, unanswered questions, and mark entry mistakes before any changes are made.
Change in Division After Scrutiny
According to board regulations, an increase in marks following scrutiny will reflect on the candidate's percentage, potentially changing their division. Third and second division candidates may move up if their total marks meet the criteria. This is crucial for students planning admissions based on marks and divisions.
Pass Percentage and Topper Information
The board will release pass percentage, stream-wise performance, district-wise results, and details of toppers in Science, Commerce, and Arts streams along with the results. Official portals will remain the primary source for mark sheets, scrutiny applications, and further process information. Students are advised to keep their admit cards handy for login credentials and to download their mark sheets after logging in.
Schools will guide students in checking results through institutional channels when needed. After downloading provisional scorecards from the official website, students can obtain original mark sheets from their respective institutions. The board emphasizes that students should rely only on official portals for result-related notifications.
