The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi will commence the registration process for JAC Delhi 2026 counselling from today, May 28, 2026. Students aspiring for admission to premier engineering institutions in Delhi can now apply online for B.Tech. and B.Arch. programmes.
Participating Institutes
The counselling process will cover admissions to Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).
Registration Timeline
Candidates can submit their applications until June 9, 2026. The registration window includes application form submission, fee payment, and choice filling. Officials have urged students to complete the process before the deadline to avoid last-minute rush.
JEE Main Scores to Determine Admissions
Admissions under JAC Delhi 2026 will be based on JEE Main 2026 scores. Candidates who qualified JEE Main Paper 1 can apply for B.Tech. admissions, while those who cleared Paper 2 are eligible for B.Arch. admissions.
For DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, and DSEU, B.Tech. admissions will be conducted strictly on the basis of the Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE Main Paper 1. IIIT-Delhi will consider JEE Main percentile scores along with bonus points awarded for achievements in Olympiads, programming contests, sports, chess, culture, innovation, and National Talent Search examinations.
Admissions to B.Arch. courses in NSUT and IGDTUW will be carried out through JEE Main Paper 2 ranks.
Extra Chance for Students from June 26
JAC Delhi has also announced an additional registration and choice editing window for candidates. Students will be allowed to register and modify their choices from June 26 to June 28, 2026. This move is expected to assist students who miss the first registration deadline or wish to make changes in their preferred college and course options.

Registration Fee Fixed at Rs 1,500
Counselling applicants are required to pay a non-refundable registration charge of Rs 1,500. The amount can be paid using debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or any other online payment method provided by the portal.
