The State Common Entrance Test Cell has reopened registration for the second attempt of the MBA and MMS Common Entrance Test (CET) for the academic year 2026–27. This one-day extension, applicable on Friday, April 24, 2026, comes with a late fee and is intended for students who missed the earlier registration window. The decision follows numerous requests from candidates via email, telephone, and in-person visits to the CET Cell.
Key Details of the Second Attempt
The first phase of the MBA–MMS CET was conducted from April 6 to April 8, 2026. For the first time, students in Maharashtra are being given two attempts for the entrance examination, as per the directive of Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil. So far, 48,588 students have registered for the second attempt. The second attempt exam is scheduled for May 9, 2026.
Important Instructions for Registration
- Eligibility: Only students who have not registered earlier for the second attempt can complete their registration during this extended period.
- No Re-registration Needed: Candidates who have already registered for both attempts do not need to register again.
- APAAR ID: Students who have not yet created their APAAR ID are advised to do so through DigiLocker; however, this is not mandatory.
- No Corrections: No edit facility will be available for applications submitted during this extended period. Candidates must ensure all details are accurate before submission.
