Mumbai Uni TYBCom Results: 55% Pass, 8,634 Withheld

Mumbai University announced the results for the Third Year Bachelor of Commerce (TYBCom) final semester examinations on Wednesday. Out of the 45,758 students who appeared for the exams, over 55% successfully cleared them. This success rate remains identical to that of the previous year, indicating consistency in student performance.

Result Publication and Access

The university released the results within 14 working days of the examinations. Students can view their results on the official university website at mumresults.in. The prompt announcement reflects the university's commitment to timely dissemination of academic outcomes.

Results Withheld for Non-Registration

However, the results of 8,634 students have been withheld. These students failed to register with the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) despite multiple reminders from the university. This decision mirrors last year's action, where the university similarly withheld results for non-compliance with ABC registration requirements.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has repeatedly emphasized the importance of the ABC ID for students. The ID enables the storage of credit details on DigiLocker, a digital platform for academic documents. These IDs are essential for higher education purposes and academic verification processes.

Importance of ABC ID

According to a statement from Mumbai University, the ABC ID allows students to transfer and utilize their accumulated credits at any university across the country. It is also required for linking data with national-level government systems such as DigiLocker, the National Academic Depository, and UGC/National Testing Agency (NTA) platforms. The university urged students to register promptly to avoid future inconveniences.

For further updates, students can also check information on gold rates, silver rates, bank holidays, public holidays, air quality index (AQI), and weather in Mumbai through relevant official channels.
