Patliputra University Reschedules Undergraduate Semester-IV Examinations
Patliputra University (PPU) has announced a rescheduling of the undergraduate (UG) semester-IV examinations for the 2024–28 academic session. According to the revised programme, the exams will now be conducted from June 22 to 25, instead of the earlier scheduled dates of June 20 to 25.
Examination Schedule and Timings
PPU examination controller Manoj Kumar confirmed that the examinations will be held in two sittings each day: from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Thousands of students enrolled in various UG courses under the choice-based credit system (CBCS) are expected to appear for these exams.
Arrangements and Guidelines
Kumar stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations at centers across colleges in Patna and Nalanda districts. The revised schedule has been uploaded on the university portal, and colleges have been instructed to inform students accordingly.
Special Examination for Failed Students
In addition, the university will conduct a special examination on June 30 for students of the 2023–27 session who were declared failed or promoted earlier. This provides them an opportunity to clear pending papers. Officials believe this decision will benefit a large number of students awaiting completion of their academic requirements.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates have been advised to carefully check the revised schedule and admit cards, and to strictly follow examination guidelines. Students are also required to reach their centers well in advance, carrying valid admit cards and identity proofs. The rescheduling aims to ensure better administrative preparedness and smooth conduct of the examinations, Kumar added.
