The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has indicated that the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results for 2026 may be released within this week. Updates will be published on the official website cisceboard.org.
Official Statement
A senior CISCE official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that the focus is on releasing results within this week and preparations are aligned accordingly. The official clarified that no final date has been confirmed and updates will only be issued through official channels.
Fake Notice Causes Confusion
A fake notice circulating on social media claimed results would be released on April 22 at 3:00 PM, causing confusion. CISCE later clarified that the notice was not authentic and no such schedule had been finalised.
Expected Timeline
According to media reports and past trends, ICSE and ISC results for 2026 are likely to be declared between the last week of April and the first week of May. In previous years, results were released between April 30 and May 6.
Previous Performance
Last year, both ICSE and ISC recorded pass percentages above 99%. Over 250,000 students appeared for ICSE and nearly 100,000 for ISC examinations.
CVE Results to Be Released Alongside
The Council will also release results for the Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE) Year 12, allowing vocational students to receive results simultaneously.
How to Check Results
Students can check results on cisceboard.org using their Unique ID (UID) and Index Number. After logging in, they must select ICSE or ISC to view their scorecards, which can be downloaded or printed.
Examination Schedule
ICSE exams were conducted from February 17 to March 30, while ISC exams were held from February 12 to April 3. Students are now awaiting results expected within this week.
CISCE advises students and parents to rely only on official updates from cisceboard.org. No offline distribution of results has been announced. Schools will issue original mark sheets after verification procedures following the online publication.
Students are advised to keep login credentials ready to avoid delays during peak traffic on the official portal.
