RRB NTPC CBT-2 Exam Set for Dec 20, 2025: Key Guidelines
RRB NTPC CBT-2 on Dec 20: Aadhaar Mandatory

The Railway Recruitment Boards have made a significant announcement regarding the next phase of the NTPC undergraduate recruitment process. The second stage Computer Based Test, known as CBT-II, will take place on 20 December 2025, marking a crucial milestone for thousands of aspirants across India.

Critical Examination Details and Timeline

Candidates who successfully cleared the first stage CBT-I, conducted between 7 August and 9 September 2025, will now advance to this decisive second round. The examination falls under CEN No. 06/2024 for NTPC undergraduate posts.

Approximately ten days before the scheduled exam date, candidates will be able to check their assigned examination city and date through official RRB portals. This timeline also allows SC/ST candidates to obtain necessary travel authority documents. The electronic call letters will become available for download four days prior to the examination, and these documents must be carried to the exam center for entry.

Mandatory Aadhaar Biometric Verification

In a significant security enhancement, the RRBs have implemented compulsory Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at all examination centers. Every candidate must bring their original Aadhaar card or an e-verified printout for verification purposes.

The recruitment boards have issued specific instructions regarding Aadhaar preparation. Candidates who haven't completed Aadhaar authentication must immediately log into the official portal and complete the process to avoid being denied entry. Even those who verified their Aadhaar during the application stage must ensure their Aadhaar remains unlocked in the UIDAI system on examination day to facilitate smooth verification.

Official Communication Channels and Warnings

The Commission has strictly reiterated that all examination-related updates and information will be available exclusively through official RRB portals. A stern warning has been issued against touts and unauthorized agents who might promise employment or special access.

Recruitment will be conducted solely on the basis of merit in the Computer Based Tests, and candidates must rely exclusively on official RRB websites for accurate information. The notice emphasizes that information from unofficial sources may be false or misleading and could create unnecessary complications during the examination process.

With intense competition for limited positions, the December examination represents a critical step toward final selection in the NTPC undergraduate recruitment drive. Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to all guidelines and timelines to ensure a smooth examination experience.
