The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is set to conduct the preliminary examination for the recruitment of lecturers (male/female) in Government Inter Colleges (GICs) across the state on Sunday, June 14. The exam will cover subjects including Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Physics, Urdu, Mathematics, Sociology, Biology, English, Civics, and Chemistry.
Exam Schedule and Centers
The examination will be held in a single shift from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at 891 centers spread across 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh. A total of 3,81,605 candidates have registered for the exam.
Security Arrangements
The commission has implemented extensive security and monitoring measures to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. All candidates will undergo thorough frisking and biometric verification. Iris scanning will also be conducted to prevent impersonation and ensure only genuine candidates appear.
Surveillance and Monitoring
UPPSC has installed CCTV cameras at all examination centers through its authorized agency. Live streaming from every center will be monitored from a central control room throughout the exam. Technical teams have already inspected the surveillance systems and conducted mock tests of frisking and biometric verification procedures to avoid any glitches on exam day.
Question Paper Security
To maintain confidentiality and prevent paper leaks, two sets of question papers have been prepared. Each set has a different color and confidential code. The final selection will remain undisclosed until shortly before the examination, when officials will be informed about the set to be used.
Prayagraj Arrangements
In Prayagraj, 44 examination centers have been set up, where 17,828 candidates are expected to appear. One static magistrate and one sector magistrate have been deployed at each center to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
