Meerut: Vanshika Upadhyay, the daughter of a marginal farmer, has emerged as the district topper in the UP Board Class 12 results, securing an impressive 93.40 percent. A student of AS Inter College in Mawana, she scored 467 out of 500 marks in the science (mathematics) stream, bringing laurels to her family and school.
A Remarkable Achievement Against All Odds
Despite coming from a family with limited financial resources, Vanshika achieved this feat without the aid of any private tuition. Her mother, Meenakshi Upadhyay, is a homemaker, while her father, Sonu Upadhyay, works as a farmer. The family resides in the Kavli Gate area near Buddha Pir in Mawana.
Speaking about his daughter's success, Sonu Upadhyay expressed immense pride. "I am proud of my daughter; she has made me hold my head high," he said. The achievement has brought immense joy to the entire family, who had always believed in Vanshika's hard work and dedication.

The principal of AS Inter College, Meghraj Singh, described Vanshika as an exceptionally bright student who relied solely on classroom learning.
