In a compelling address at the eighth convocation of JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), B M Jayeshankar, Chairman and Managing Director of Adarsh Group, delivered key advice to students on achieving success in today's competitive world. The event, held at the SJCE campus in Mysuru, saw Jayeshankar highlight the importance of foundational virtues alongside modern professional demands.

Jayeshankar urged the graduating students to cultivate honesty, integrity, and hard work, coupled with patience, as essential traits for thriving in both their personal lives and careers. He emphasized that these qualities form the bedrock of long-term achievement and fulfillment.

The CMD specifically addressed budding entrepreneurs and business professionals, noting that work-life balance has become increasingly crucial in today's cut-throat, knowledge-driven environment. He explained that maintaining this balance is vital for preserving physical and mental wellbeing, preventing burnout, and enhancing long-term productivity.

Celebrating Academic Excellence and Achievements
The convocation also served as a platform to recognize the contributions of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which trains thousands of business professionals through over 17 undergraduate programs, 28 postgraduate programs, and doctoral research opportunities, adhering to global academic standards.
Distinguished attendees included Suttur Mutt seer Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami, Vice-Chancellor A N Santoshkumar, JSS Mahavidyapeetha executive secretary C G Betsurmath, and director (technical education) B Suresh.
During the ceremony, degrees were conferred on 1,832 graduates, comprising 1,081 Bachelor of Engineering, 63 Bachelor of Computer Applications, 161 Master of Science, 281 Master of Business Administration, 99 Master of Technology, and 29 doctoral scholars. Additionally, 37 rank holders were felicitated with medals, and 37 students received endowment awards, marking a celebration of academic excellence and future potential.
