Approximately 50 enthusiastic students participated in a comprehensive three-hour guided walk that commenced at Godowlia Crossing. The route meticulously traversed through the bustling Stitch Market before concluding at the vibrant Dashashwamedh area. Throughout this immersive journey, students keenly observed and documented the rich vernacular typography prevalent in the city's busy marketplaces.

Expert Mentorship and Analytical Focus

The session was expertly mentored by Abhishek Vardhan Singh and led by Professor Manish Arora. It actively encouraged students to conduct detailed studies of various typographic elements, including hand-painted signboards, mixed-script signage, and everyday lettering practices. Participants analyzed critical features such as distorted letterforms, shifting typographic hierarchy, and the fascinating coexistence of Devanagari and Latin scripts within urban environments.
