All government-run industrial training institutes in Bihar have received new Centers of Excellence. Tata Technology developed these centers to train and produce skilled workers.
Meeting Global Market Demands
This initiative directly addresses global market needs. It aims to ensure trained candidates find employment with companies seeking highly skilled workers. A labour resource department communique confirmed this goal.
Widespread Implementation
Out of 151 ITIs across the state, 149 now have these Centers of Excellence. The comprehensive rollout covers nearly every government training institute in Bihar.
Chief Minister's Inspection
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar personally inspected one such facility on Saturday. He visited a women's ITI and Center of Excellence in Motihari during his Samriddhi Yatra in East Champaran district.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to maintain training quality. He emphasized this would ensure the centers fulfill their intended purpose.
Tata Technology's Global Partnerships
The labour resource department revealed Tata Technology collaborated with 20 global industrial partners to develop these centers. This partnership resulted in 23 special ITI courses now being offered to students.
Comprehensive Training Approach
Students receive training that enables them to adopt new technologies for global market demands. They also gain skills specifically tailored to employer requirements.
The training extends to the MSME sector. Students learn to meet technology and industry needs within micro, small, and medium enterprises.
This systematic approach creates a skilled workforce ready for multiple employment sectors. The initiative represents a significant upgrade to Bihar's vocational training infrastructure.
