GGSIPU M.Ed Counselling June 18, 2026

The first offline counselling session for the Master of Education (M.Ed) programme at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is scheduled to take place on June 18, 2026, at the university's Dwarka campus. Eligible candidates who have successfully qualified the Common Entrance Test (CET) will be able to participate in this crucial counselling process, where document verification and seat allotment will be carried out on the same day.

Document Verification and Seat Allotment Process

University authorities have stated that candidates appearing for counselling will first undergo a thorough verification of their academic and admission-related documents. Once the verification process is completed, seats in the M.Ed programme (Code 120) will be allotted according to candidates' ranks and merit positions. The university will display the availability of seats on the day of counselling itself, enabling candidates to assess their admission prospects before the allotment process begins.

Mandatory Documents and Fee Requirements

Officials have advised candidates to report with all mandatory documents to avoid any disruption in the admission process. Applicants are required to bring a bank draft of Rs 96,000 drawn in favour of the University Registrar. In addition, candidates must carry four passport-size photographs, the CET admit card, rank card, the completed online application form, date of birth certificate, and other relevant certificates required for admission verification. Any discrepancy or absence of required documents may affect a candidate's eligibility for seat allotment.

Withdrawal Facility Available Until June 25

The university has also announced that candidates who are allotted seats through this counselling round will have the option to withdraw their admission. As per the schedule, allotted seats can be surrendered until June 25. The withdrawal window is expected to provide flexibility to candidates who may secure admission elsewhere or wish to reconsider their academic choices after allotment.

University Advises Aspirants to Visit Website

In view of the counselling schedule, the university has advised aspiring students to refer to its admission portal and follow instructions before coming to the college premises. Aspiring candidates desirous of participating in the counselling exercise are requested to visit the university website on a regular basis to get information on the admission process and counselling. The counselling scheduled on June 18 will determine the fate of M.Ed course admission in the present academic year.
