The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has officially inaugurated the 21st batch of its prestigious one-year MBA programme, commonly known as the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX). This executive MBA initiative has commenced with a substantial cohort of 160 accomplished professionals, marking another significant milestone for India's premier business school.

Demographic Composition and Professional Background

The newly admitted batch presents a diverse gender composition, comprising 114 male participants and 46 female participants. This translates to women constituting 28% of the total class, reflecting IIM-A's ongoing commitment to gender diversity in executive education. According to official statements from the institute, the cohort brings substantial professional experience to the classroom, with participants averaging seven years and six months of work experience. The admission process for the PGPX programme revealed that a majority of 108 students secured their places through the GMAT Focus Edition, while 33 candidates qualified via the GRE examination, and 19 participants gained admission through the traditional GMAT pathway.
