Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College Celebrates Discipline and Valor at NCC Fest Fateh'26
The campus of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College was alive with energy and patriotism as it hosted its prestigious annual NCC fest, Fateh'26, on February 25. This grand event brought together nearly 40 colleges from across the region, creating a vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie and competition.
Massive Participation and Distinguished Guests
The fest saw maximum participation from cadets who demonstrated their skills through a diverse array of activities. These included precision drill displays, captivating cultural performances, and various competitive events that highlighted the talent and dedication of the youth.
The occasion was graced by several esteemed dignitaries. Major General Ravinder Kumar, who holds the Sena Medal and serves as Additional Director General of the NCC Delhi Directorate, attended as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Colonel Kushal Kar, Commanding Officer of the 2 Delhi Girls Battalion.
Other notable attendees from the college included Vice Principal Prof. Harbans Singh, Associate NCC Officer Lt. Dr. Gurjeet Kaur, Girl Cadet Instructor Swati, Subedar Major Jaswant Singh (the Rasildar Major), Caretaker Officer Dr. Parkash Singh, and the Permanent Instructor Staff. Inspiring Talk by Havaldar Nand Kishore
A major highlight of Fateh'26 was an inspiring talk show delivered by the celebrated soldier Havaldar Nand Kishore of 21 Para SF, widely known as the 'Invisible Warrior'. Renowned for his exceptional prowess as a sniper and scout, his words deeply resonated with the cadets.
His speech ignited a renewed commitment to courage, service, and patriotism among the young participants, leaving a lasting impact on their minds and spirits.
Emphasis on NCC Values and Youth Spirit
Through its seamless blend of ceremonial precision and cultural vibrance, the Khalsa NCC Fest stood as a stirring tribute to the spirit of India's youth. Major General Ravinder Kumar, in his address, emphasized the core values of the NCC.
