The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has unveiled the comprehensive tentative schedule for all CET examinations for the 2026 admission cycle, marking a significant shift in the state's entrance examination pattern.
Key Examination Dates and Schedule
According to the newly released calendar, the MAH MHT CET 2026 for PCM group will be conducted between April 11 and 19, while students opting for the PCB stream will appear for their examinations from April 21 to 26. The entrance test marathon begins on March 24, 2026, and continues through May 8, 2026.
The management aspirants have their MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026 scheduled earlier from April 6 to 8, providing ample time for result processing and subsequent admission procedures.
Major Policy Change: Twice-Yearly Examinations
In a groundbreaking development, both MHT CET and MBA CET will be conducted twice during the year, aligning with the national pattern established by Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main). This strategic move offers students multiple opportunities to enhance their performance and secure admissions to professional courses.
The second round of examinations includes MAH MBA/MMS CET on May 9, followed by the second MHT CET PCB on May 10 and 11, and concluding with the second MHT CET PCM between May 14 and 17.
Comprehensive CET Calendar Details
The examination cycle kicks off with MAH M.P.Ed CET on March 24, accompanied by field tests the following day. March 25 will witness the conduction of both MAH MEd CET and MAH MHMCT CET.
Education sector examinations continue with MAH BEd (General and Special) and BEd ELCT CET scheduled from March 27 to 29, while MAH MCA CET finds its slot on March 30.
April brings multiple specialized examinations: MAH B.P.Ed CET on April 4 with field tests spanning April 5-7, MAH B.Design CET on April 5, and MAH AAC CET (Fine Arts) on April 10.
Legal education aspirants have MAH LLB 3-year CET on April 1 and 2, with the 5-year program CET scheduled for May 8.
The latter part of April features MAH BHMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET from April 28 to 30, while May concludes with healthcare examinations: MH-DPN/PHN CET on May 5 and MH Nursing CET on May 6 and 7.
This extensive schedule covers entrance tests across higher education, technical education, medical education, and fine arts streams, providing a structured timeline for lakhs of aspirants across Maharashtra.
