Punjab Agricultural University Hosts Vibrant Yuvak Mela with Over 20 Colleges

The Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle (GGSSC) unit at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana recently organized a highly successful and engaging Yuvak Mela on the university campus. This significant youth-focused event attracted enthusiastic participation from more than 20 colleges across the district zone, showcasing a remarkable display of vibrant youth spirit, deep cultural commitment, and spiritual dedication among the student community.

Vice-Chancellor Emphasizes Moral Values and Cultural Roots

During the event, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal addressed the gathering and provided strong encouragement to all the participating teams. He urged the students to relentlessly pursue excellence in their endeavors while remaining firmly anchored in the moral values and the rich, diverse cultural heritage of the nation. Three Competitive Events Highlight Student Talent

The Yuvak Mela featured three distinct and intellectually stimulating competitions designed to test various skills and talents of the participants:

  • Shabad Gayan Competition: This devotional singing event saw Ramgarhia Girls College secure the first position. The second position was awarded to the College of Agriculture, PAU, while Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd claimed the third spot.
  • Elocution Competition: The elocution contest was won by Master Tara Singh Memorial College, with GGN College earning a respectable second position.
  • Poetry Competition: In the poetry segment, Jaswant Singh Dental College emerged as the winner. Ramgarhia Girls College secured second place, and GGN College came in third.

Each of these competitions effectively highlighted the students' profound devotion, impressive creativity, unwavering confidence, and notable literary excellence, contributing to the event's overall success.

Judges and Organizers Laud Student Efforts
