Patliputra University Announces Extension for Exam Form Submission and Exam Schedule
In a significant update for students, Patliputra University (PPU) has officially extended the deadline for submitting examination forms for Degree Part II students. This extension applies to both regular and vocational courses, with the new cutoff date set for March 28. Additionally, the university has confirmed that the Degree Part III examinations will commence from April 15, as announced by university officials on Friday.
Examination Centers and Schedule Details
According to PPU Examination Controller Manoj Kumar, the Degree Part II examinations are scheduled to begin on April 1. These exams will be conducted across seven designated centers, with five located in Patna and two in Nalanda district. The Patna-based centers include:
- College of Commerce, Arts and Science
- AN College
- TPS College
- JD Women's College
- JN Lall College at Khagaul
In Nalanda district, the examination centers are Nalanda College and Kisan College. Kumar emphasized that students who have not yet submitted their forms should promptly visit the official university portal to complete the process before the deadline. Admit cards will be available for download starting from the evening of March 28.
Student Participation and Examination Fees
The university anticipates that approximately 5,000 students from both regular and vocational streams will participate in the Degree Part II examinations this year. In terms of examination fees, PPU has established a structured pricing system. For Degree Part II exams, general and BC II category students are required to pay Rs 700 each, while BC I, SC, and ST students must pay Rs 500 each.
For the Degree Part III examinations, the fees are set at Rs 1,600 each for general and BC II students, and Rs 1,400 each for BC I, SC, and ST students. These fees comprehensively cover the issuance of marksheets and provisional certificates for all students, ensuring a streamlined administrative process.

PPU has issued a clear advisory urging all eligible students to utilize the extended deadline effectively. By accessing the official portal, students can ensure their forms are submitted in time to avoid any last-minute complications.
