The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the release of the Advance City Intimation Slip for the upcoming Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) July 2025 Semester Examinations. This crucial update allows all registered candidates to now check the city where they have been allotted to appear for their certification exams.
Revised Exam Schedule for Specific Courses
In a significant update, the NTA has revised the examination dates for three specific SWAYAM courses due to what it describes as "unavoidable circumstances." The agency has provided a clear revised schedule for the affected candidates.
The changes are as follows: The exam for Basic Concepts in Education (course code cec25_ed14) has been shifted from December 11 to December 15, 2025. Similarly, the Basic Instructional Methods (ntr25_ed70) exam moves from December 11 to December 16, 2025. Lastly, the Student Psychology (ntr25_ed94) examination will now be held on December 16 instead of the originally scheduled December 13, 2025.
All other examinations will proceed as per the original national schedule on December 11, 12, 13, and 14, 2025.
How to Download Your Exam City Intimation Slip
Candidates must follow a simple online process to access their city allotment details. The steps are outlined below:
- Visit the official NTA SWAYAM portal at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam.
- Locate and click on the link for 'SWAYAM July 2025 Exam City Intimation Slip.'
- Enter your registered credentials, which are your Email ID or Application Number along with your Date of Birth.
- Submit the details to view your specific allotted exam city on the screen.
- Download the slip and save a copy for your records and future reference.
A critical point to remember is that this document is not the Admit Card. It solely informs the candidate of the city where their examination centre will be located. The actual admit cards for the SWAYAM July 2025 Semester examination will be released by NTA at a later date.
Examination Overview and Key Details
The NTA SWAYAM July 2025 examinations are a major undertaking, covering 648 different courses under the popular online learning programme. The tests will be conducted in examination centres spread across the country.
Each exam session will have a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours). The tests will be held in two shifts daily: the first from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Regarding the question paper medium, it will be provided in English for all courses except language courses. For language-specific courses, the paper will be available in the respective language of instruction.
