Important Dates and Deadlines

As per the official schedule, the registration window will remain open until June 15, 2026. Candidates are advised to register early to avoid last-minute technical issues. The choice filling and locking phase will commence from June 16, 2026, and will continue until June 20, 2026. The first round of seat allocation results will be announced on June 25, 2026.

Seat Allocation Process

JOSAA will conduct multiple rounds of seat allocation based on candidate preferences, rank, and availability. Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the allotted institute for document verification and fee payment to confirm their admission. Failure to report will result in the forfeiture of the seat.

For more details, candidates are advised to regularly check the official JOSAA website and read the information brochure carefully. This year, the authority has introduced a new feature allowing candidates to view real-time seat availability during the choice-filling period.
