The examination attracted substantial interest from aspiring teachers, with approximately 1,630 candidates registering for the opportunity. The written test was conducted in two separate shifts to accommodate different subject specializations, specifically for TGT English and TGT Hindi positions.
Despite the high number of registrations, the actual attendance saw 865 candidates participating in the crucial examination that could determine their teaching careers in Chandigarh's educational institutions.
Stringent Security Measures Implemented
