Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Results 2026 Released with Historic Success Rates

The much-anticipated Intermediate Public Examination results for Andhra Pradesh were officially declared on Wednesday, bringing immense joy and relief to countless students and families throughout the state. Education Minister Nara Lokesh personally announced the outcomes, highlighting a landmark achievement in academic performance with unprecedented pass percentages recorded this year.

Record-Breaking Pass Percentages Across Both Years

According to the detailed announcement by Minister Lokesh, the first-year Intermediate examinations witnessed a robust pass rate of 77 percent. The performance in the second year was even more remarkable, achieving an impressive 81 percent success rate. These figures represent a significant milestone for the state's education system.

The minister expressed particular pride in the results from government junior colleges, which demonstrated substantial improvement. In these institutions, 54 percent of students cleared the first-year examinations, while 68 percent were successful in the second year, indicating positive trends in public education.

Gender Performance and Overall Statistics

Continuing a consistent trend, female students outperformed their male counterparts in both examination categories. The total number of candidates who appeared for the first-year exams was 4,21,984, with 3,61,526 students passing successfully. For the second year, 4,44,657 students took the examinations, and 3,59,816 cleared them, maintaining the strong overall success rate.

Minister Lokesh extended heartfelt congratulations to all successful candidates while offering encouragement and support to those who did not achieve their desired results. He emphasized the importance of resilience, urging students to view any setbacks as opportunities for future growth and achievement.

Appeal for Comprehensive Support System

The Education Minister made a sincere appeal to parents, educational institutions, and society at large to provide understanding and support to students facing academic challenges. He stressed that creating a nurturing environment is crucial for helping young learners overcome difficulties and reach their full potential.

Examination Schedule and Important Dates

The Intermediate examinations were conducted from February 28 to March 2 across the state. Students seeking re-verification and recounting of their answer scripts can submit applications between April 20 and 27 through the official channels.

Practical examinations for supplementary candidates have been scheduled from May 7 to 11 at various district headquarters. The advanced supplementary examinations are set to commence from May 21 onward, providing another opportunity for students to improve their results.

District-Wise Performance Analysis

In terms of regional performance, Krishna district emerged as the top performer in both first and second-year results, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement across its educational institutions. Conversely, Annamayya district recorded the lowest pass percentage among all districts, highlighting areas where additional educational support and intervention may be needed.
