Assam HSLC 2026: Board Launches Post-Result Services for Answer Scripts and OMR Sheets
Following the declaration of the HSLC Result 2026, the Assam State School Education Board (SEBA) has introduced a significant initiative to enhance transparency and support students. The board has now enabled access to scanned copies of answer scripts and OMR sheets as part of its comprehensive post-result services. This move aims to assist students in verification and record-keeping, particularly before they consider applying for re-checking if necessary.
Exam Performance and Student Participation
This year's Assam HSLC examinations witnessed a pass percentage of 65.62%, with over 4.29 lakh students appearing for the tests. While thousands of candidates secured top divisions, many others may benefit from reviewing their evaluated scripts to understand their performance better and identify areas for improvement.
How to Obtain Scanned Answer Scripts
Students interested in accessing their scanned answer scripts must follow a straightforward online procedure. They need to visit the official SEBA website and select the dedicated option for scanned copies. After choosing the relevant subjects and entering required personal details, a payment of Rs 400 per subject is mandatory to proceed with the request.
Accessing OMR Sheets and Answer Keys
For OMR sheets along with answer keys, students are required to submit a separate application. The fee for this service is set at Rs 50 per subject, providing an affordable way for candidates to cross-verify their responses and understand the evaluation criteria.
Delivery Timeline and Process
Scanned copies will be delivered via email within 30 days from the last date of application submission. The board has expressed its commitment to expedite this process, aiming to dispatch the documents even earlier, especially after the re-checking results are officially declared.
Key Instructions for Students
- Applications must be submitted exclusively online within a strict 15-day window from the result announcement.
- Candidates are required to provide a formal undertaking stating that the obtained documents will not be used for commercial purposes or public display.
- The identity of examiners will remain confidential in all scanned copies to maintain evaluation integrity.
- These documents cannot be challenged legally, and the board's decision regarding their content will be considered final.
Important Notes and Advisory
Students are strongly advised to carefully follow all instructions to avoid rejection of their applications. The official portal will remain active only for the specified application period, and no requests will be accepted after the deadline. This system is designed to ensure efficient processing while upholding the board's standards of fairness and transparency in academic assessments.
