Teams from Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School (BJEM) in the city achieved top positions among the leading 200 projects in the prestigious Odisha Tinker Marathon. This outstanding performance has earned them a direct entry into the Odisha Student Innovation Programme (OSIP), a major platform for nurturing young talent.

Celebrating Winning Innovations

The recently concluded competition saw the school's projects, named 'Rohini 2.0' and SHIVAM (Swayam Health Intelligent Vehicle Alerting Mechanism), emerge as winners. The brilliant minds behind these prototypes are students Adyasha Mohapatra, Swayam Dash, Hariomm Mahapatra, Chandrashu Baral, and Subhrajit Prusty. The Odisha Tinker Marathon is a statewide event designed to provide a platform for students to present their creative ideas and working models, fostering a culture of innovation from a young age.

A Testament to Mentorship and Effort

Principal Sandhya Jena expressed immense pride in the students' accomplishment. She highlighted that the success serves as a proud testament to the relentless hard work of the students and the consistent, unwavering guidance provided by the school's Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL). "At BJEM, we are committed to cultivating a spirit of inquiry and innovation. Witnessing our students gain recognition at the state level is incredibly rewarding and heartening," Jena stated. The school's infrastructure and mentorship through the ATL have been pivotal in translating student ideas into tangible, competitive projects.
