Chennai Primary Teachers to Receive Intensive Training for New Curriculum
In a significant move to enhance primary education, teachers handling classes I to III in government, aided, and corporation schools across Chennai will participate in a comprehensive three-day training program. A Pugalendhi, Joint Director of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) for Syllabus, stated: "Printing of term-I books for classes I-III will commence shortly. For other classes, we are currently processing the valuable suggestions received from various stakeholders."

The training schedules will be prepared by chief education offices and district institutes of education and training. Pugalendhi emphasized that these sessions will be conducted after the upcoming elections to ensure full participation and focus.
