Punjab Government Initiates Free Coaching for Army and Police Aspirants in Ranike
The Punjab Government has officially launched a comprehensive free coaching program aimed at youth preparing for recruitment into the Army, paramilitary forces, SSC, and Punjab Police. This initiative is being conducted at the C-PYTE (Centre for Training and Employment of Punjab Youth) camp located in Ranike village, within the Amritsar district. The program focuses on both written examination preparation and intensive physical training to enhance candidates' chances of success in competitive recruitment processes.
Recruitment Registration Details and Camp Activities
Training Officer Captain Ajit Singh of the C-PYTE Camp in Ranike provided detailed information about the ongoing efforts. He highlighted that the Assistant Recruiting Officer (ARO) from Amritsar recently visited the camp to brief candidates on current and upcoming recruitment procedures. According to Captain Singh, registration for the Army recruitment for the year 2026 commenced on February 13 and will continue until April 1. Similarly, registration for Punjab Police recruitment started on March 10 and will remain open until March 30. He strongly urged interested youth to complete their registrations promptly and report to the C-PYTE camp in Ranike to take full advantage of the available training facilities.
Coaching Classes and Physical Training Schedule
Captain Ajit Singh further elaborated that written examination coaching classes for Agniveer recruitment began at the camp on February 16, while classes for the Punjab Police written examination started on March 10. In addition to academic preparation, the camp is conducting rigorous physical training sessions tailored for both Army and Punjab Police recruitment requirements. This dual approach ensures that candidates are well-prepared for all aspects of the selection process, including fitness tests and written exams.
Eligibility and Enrollment Requirements
The free coaching and training program is open to youth residing in the districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot who aspire to prepare for written examinations and physical tests for SSC, Army Agniveer, and Punjab Police recruitment. Candidates wishing to enroll in the training program must report to the camp with photocopies of essential documents. These include an Aadhaar card, Class X or Class XII certificates, a caste certificate, and two passport-size photographs. This initiative underscores the Punjab Government's commitment to supporting young individuals in achieving their career goals in defense and law enforcement sectors.
