Gumla Administration Implements Comprehensive Four-Day Board Exam Preparation Initiative

The district administration in Gumla has officially launched an intensive four-day special practice program designed specifically to prepare students for the upcoming Class 8 board examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). This strategic initiative, which concludes on February 28, represents a significant effort to enhance student readiness and performance across the district.

Extensive Reach Across Educational Institutions

This comprehensive preparation program encompasses an impressive 17,254 examinees distributed across 543 middle schools throughout Gumla district. The actual board examinations are scheduled to commence on March 2 and will be conducted in two separate shifts to accommodate the substantial number of participating students.

Expert-Designed Preparation Materials

District Superintendent of Education (DSE) Noor Alam Khan provided detailed insights into the preparation methodology. "A dedicated core team comprising expert teachers has meticulously developed probable examination questions that comprehensively cover the entire syllabus for each subject," Khan explained. "These carefully curated questions have been systematically uploaded to a designated Google link, ensuring easy accessibility for all educational institutions."

Khan further emphasized that all schools received explicit directives to conduct intensive practice sessions utilizing these specialized materials. "This approach guarantees uniform and high-quality preparation standards across the entire district, eliminating disparities in educational resources and teaching methodologies," he added.

Structured Daily Schedule and Subject Focus

Dildar Singh, an official from the education department, elaborated on the program's structured implementation. "From February 25 through February 28, we are conducting syllabus-based tests covering two subjects each day," Singh stated. "The first shift prioritizes intensive practice of traditionally challenging subjects including mathematics, science, and English language."

Singh continued, "Following the mid-day meal break, the second shift concentrates on subjects such as Hindi, Sanskrit, and social science. This strategic division ensures balanced attention to all curriculum areas while addressing specific learning needs."

Comprehensive Revision and Additional Support Components

The education official revealed additional components integrated into the preparation program. "On March 28, we will organize a comprehensive revision session accompanied by detailed error analysis," Singh disclosed. "This will include practical training for filling OMR sheets correctly and motivational sessions designed to boost student confidence and examination temperament."

Administrative Vision for Educational Excellence

Gumla Deputy Commissioner Prerna Dixit articulated the broader educational vision behind this initiative. "This program aims to ensure thorough syllabus revision and examination-oriented preparations," Dixit emphasized. "Such foundational strengthening at the Class 8 level establishes a robust academic base that significantly benefits students as they progress to higher classes and more advanced educational challenges."

The administration's proactive approach demonstrates a commitment to educational quality and student success, particularly for board examinations that serve as critical academic milestones in students' educational journeys.
