HBSE Class 12 Results Anticipated by Mid-May as Evaluation Commences

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has announced that the Class 12 examination results are scheduled to be released by the second week of May. This follows the completion of the board examinations, which commenced on February 25 and concluded on April 1. The board is now focusing on the evaluation process to ensure timely declaration of results.

Evaluation Timeline and Process Details

HBSE chairperson Pawan Kumar Sharma provided insights into the evaluation schedule. For Class 10, the checking of answer sheets began on April 2 and is expected to finish by April 24. Meanwhile, for Class 12, evaluation started on April 3 and will continue until April 28. Sharma emphasized the board's commitment to wrapping up all academic formalities efficiently, noting that Class 10 examinations ended on March 20.

To facilitate a smooth assessment, the board has established multiple evaluation centers. For Class 10, there are 75 centers spread across 22 districts, involving 6,969 teachers. For Class 12, 52 centers have been designated, with 5,009 teachers assigned to evaluate the papers. On the initial day, each sub-examiner will assess 15 answer sheets, with the daily quota increasing to 30 thereafter. To maintain accuracy, a chief examiner will randomly recheck 10% of the answer sheets already graded by sub-examiners.

Additional Examinations and Integrity Measures

In addition to the main board exams, the evaluation of DElEd (diploma in elementary education) examinations will be conducted at four centers. The board has reiterated that maintaining the integrity of the examination process is a top priority. During recent examinations in subjects such as Punjabi, Sanskrit, and Veda Siddhant, three cases of cheating were reported. Consequently, action was taken against one supervisor, one clerk, and one attendant for negligence during their duties.

Student Advisory and Official Updates

Students have been advised to keep their roll numbers ready and regularly check the official HBSE website for updates on the result date and access links. The board is working diligently to ensure a transparent and timely result declaration process, urging students to rely on official channels for accurate information.
