Hyderabad Chief Minister Focuses on Quality Student Kits for Government Schools
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy issued clear instructions to officials on Monday. He demanded that there should be no compromise on the quality of student kits. These kits are scheduled for distribution to children in government schools starting from the next academic year.
Review Meeting at CM's Residence
The chief minister held a detailed review meeting at his official residence. During this meeting, he discussed the centralised procurement process for the student kits. Each kit will contain twenty-two essential items for students attending government schools and welfare hostels.
Revanth Reddy stressed the importance of timely delivery. He instructed officials to ensure the kits reach students immediately after schools reopen following the summer vacation period.
Government Commitment and Financial Support
The chief minister gave officials a firm assurance. He stated that the government would provide adequate financial resources. This funding will guarantee the supply of high-quality kits, which include school uniforms, to all eligible students.
"This initiative has a dual purpose," the CM explained. "We aim to improve the overall learning environment for children. At the same time, we want to ease the significant financial burden on parents."
Detailed Planning for Procurement
Revanth Reddy issued specific directives for the procurement process. Officials must prepare detailed plans for acquiring all essential items. The list includes:
- School belts and ties
- Shoes and school bags
- Notebooks and other necessary supplies
The chief minister also requested comprehensive information. He asked for details on all pending bills related to government schools and residential institutions. Furthermore, he directed officials to take prompt action to clear these outstanding payments.
Vision for Public Education
The government reaffirmed its strong commitment to strengthening the public education system. Revanth Reddy emphasized a clear goal. He wants students studying in government institutions to receive facilities and resources that are on par with those available in private schools.
This move represents a significant step toward educational equity. The focus remains on providing quality support to every child in the state's government school system.
