Principal Amandeep voiced serious apprehension about the deteriorating situation. "The overwhelming crowd surrounding these food carts creates genuine discomfort for our students. Many young women feel hesitant and anxious while entering or leaving the campus, which fundamentally disrupts the disciplined and secure learning environment we work diligently to maintain," the principal stated emphatically.
Stray Dog Menace Compounds Safety Hazards
The hazardous situation escalates further due to stray dogs attracted by food waste from carts selling chicken and eggs. Faculty members have observed these animals frequently wandering onto the campus premises, creating substantial safety risks. "These stray dogs feed on leftover waste carelessly discarded outside the institute and subsequently enter our grounds. This not only generates fear among students but also raises serious sanitation and public health issues," explained a concerned staff member.
Administration's Complaints Ignored Despite Repeated Appeals
Despite numerous written and verbal complaints submitted to the municipal corporation authorities, no concrete action has materialized to address this pressing issue. The principal revealed a troubling dimension to the problem, alleging that vendors claim political patronage to resist removal efforts. "We have made multiple formal requests through proper channels, yet these encroachers remain firmly entrenched in their positions," Principal Amandeep added with evident frustration.

Students have reported several additional problems stemming from the encroachments:

The institute currently provides vocational training to 168 women in essential trades including sewing, embroidery, fashion technology, and computer graphics.
