JAC Class 11 Result 2026 Officially Released by Jharkhand Academic Council

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), based in Ranchi, has formally declared the results for the Class XI Examination 2026. This significant announcement marks the culmination of a rigorous evaluation process following the state-wide examinations conducted over a four-day period from February 25 to February 28, 2026. The tests were administered at designated centres under strict, standardised supervision to ensure fairness and integrity.

Official Declaration and Key Figures

Chairman Dr. Natwa Hansdak unveiled the results at the Council headquarters in Ranchi, accompanied by senior officials including the Secretary, Examination Controller, and Senior Information Officer. This event highlighted the successful completion of the extensive tabulation and assessment procedures.

A total of 3,61,683 students were initially enrolled for the examination, with 3,58,533 actually appearing for the tests. Among these candidates, an impressive 3,55,399 students have been promoted to the next academic level, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 99.12 per cent. This figure underscores a consistently high performance across all divisions and districts within Jharkhand, reflecting robust participation and successful academic outcomes statewide.

Gender-Wise Performance Analysis

The results reveal notable gender-based statistics:

  • Male Students: Out of 1,68,556 enrolled, 1,66,955 appeared, and 1,65,423 were promoted, achieving a pass percentage of 99.08 per cent. Additionally, 1,532 students were placed in the marginal category, while 1,601 were absent.
  • Female Students: From 1,93,127 enrolled, 1,91,578 appeared, with 1,89,976 promoted, recording a slightly higher pass percentage of 99.16 per cent. Here, 1,602 students fell into the marginal category, and 1,549 were marked absent.

At the divisional level, the data shows 38,976 students enrolled, 38,510 appearing, and 38,210 promoted, yielding a pass percentage of 99.22 per cent, indicating strong performance in this segment as well.

Administrative Insights and Future Guidance

During the announcement, Chairman Dr. Natwa Hansdak extended congratulations to students, parents, teachers, and school administrations for their collective efforts in achieving these results. He specifically acknowledged the crucial roles played by district education authorities, principals, and examination personnel in ensuring a smooth and disruption-free examination process.

The Council also reported that no cases were registered under withheld, expelled, or invalid categories, highlighting the integrity of the assessment. Students placed in marginal or absent categories have been advised to take advantage of upcoming academic opportunities for improvement and advancement.
