Maharani Gayatri Devi School Hosts Leadership Program for Students
Leadership Program at MGD School Develops Student Skills

This week, Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls' School in Jaipur is hosting an innovative leadership development program designed to empower students with essential life skills and cultural awareness. The LEAD-I@MGD initiative, which began on Monday, brings together expert sessions, practical projects, and wellness activities to create a comprehensive learning experience for young scholars.

Royal Inauguration and Cultural Exploration

The program commenced with a distinguished inauguration by Lakshayraj Mewar of the erstwhile Udaipur royal family, who set the tone with his engaging talk on 'Incredible India.' His presentation delved into the nation's rich history and diverse cultural heritage, providing students with valuable insights into India's magnificent traditions and legacy.

Leadership Development and Environmental Awareness

Throughout the week, students have participated in multiple sessions focused on climate change and individual responsibility. These discussions emphasized how young people can make meaningful differences in society, starting from their school environment. The program specifically targeted leadership skill enhancement through expert-led workshops concentrating on self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and resilience building.

A significant component of the leadership training included a Mini Leadership Project that encouraged participants to apply their newly acquired skills in practical scenarios. This hands-on approach ensured that theoretical knowledge translated into real-world capabilities.

Cultural Immersion and Holistic Wellness

Cultural exposure formed a crucial element of the program, with activities including a vibrant Craft Bazaar and interactive sessions featuring traditional dance and music. These experiences allowed students to connect with India's artistic traditions while developing appreciation for cultural diversity.

The school also prioritized student wellness through various activities such as Walk and Talk sessions, Yoga practices, and Self Defense training. This comprehensive approach ensured that development addressed not only academic and leadership skills but also physical and mental well-being.

According to an official release from the school, the program successfully created an environment where young women can develop into well-rounded leaders equipped to face future challenges with confidence and cultural sensitivity.
