Ludhiana Emerges as Academic Powerhouse with CBSE Class X Results
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class X results on Wednesday evening, solidifying Ludhiana's reputation as a hub of academic excellence. Numerous students across the city achieved scores surpassing the 99% threshold, with two standout performers missing the perfect 100% by a mere 0.2% margin.
The Elite 99.8% Club: Self-Study Success Stories
Saksham Mittal from DAV BRS Nagar and Divyansh Jaju from Police DAV Public School led the city's performance with near-perfect scores of 99.8%. Remarkably, both students attributed their success to self-study, bypassing the private coaching and tuition centers that are prevalent in India's competitive education landscape.
Saksham Mittal secured full marks in English, Punjabi, Artificial Intelligence, and Social Studies. He plans to enroll in the non-medical stream for Class XI, aiming to launch his own tech startup in the future. His father is a local businessman, providing a supportive environment for his ambitions.
Divyansh Jaju matched Mittal's score with perfect marks in Mathematics, Social Studies, Hindi, and Information Technology. Also choosing the non-medical stream, Jaju credited his parents for his magical results and expressed his goal to clear the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission into an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
City-Wide Academic Excellence Across Schools
The trend of high performance extended to multiple major institutes in Ludhiana. Hitansh Sharma of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School scored 99.6%, dedicating nine to ten hours daily to studies and crediting his grandparents for his success. Despite having a teacher mother and advocate father, he plans to forge his own path through the JEE and has already opted for the non-medical stream.
Other notable achievers include:
- Akashi Sharma from Police DAV Public School with 99.6% and perfect scores in Math, Punjabi, and IT.
- BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School in Shastri Nagar reported a cluster of high scorers: Deepan Garg, Hitansh Sharma, and Saanjh Kaur (all 99.6%), Akshom Shukla, Gaurvi, Piya Pathria, Himaksh Arora, and Paavni Gambhir (all 99.4%), and Anhad Kaur, Gursimrat Singh, Ridhima, and Divya Goyal (all 99.2%).
- Agrima Sharma from Police DAV and Ishaandeep Kaur Sahota from Green Grove Public both secured 99.4%.
- Satkaran Singh, Divyam Kalia from DAV Public Pakhowal Road, and Mannat from DCM Presidency School rounded out the top bracket with 99.2%.
The Non-Medical Pivot: Engineering Aspirations Take Center Stage
A common theme among Ludhiana's top scorers is their shift towards engineering and technology fields. Most elite students have confirmed enrollment in the non-medical stream for Class XI, targeting the JEE for admission into prestigious IITs. This strategic move highlights the city's focus on fostering future innovators and tech leaders.
The results underscore Ludhiana's commitment to academic rigor and student success, setting a benchmark for educational achievement in the region.
