Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan Achieves Remarkable 94% Success Rate in JEE Main 2024
Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan, located in Arjunganj, has delivered an outstanding performance in the recently declared JEE Main results, with an impressive 15 out of its 16 mathematics stream students clearing the prestigious engineering entrance examination in their very first attempt. This exceptional achievement, announced on Monday, has brought significant attention to the institute's innovative educational model that provides completely free coaching for competitive exams alongside regular Class XI and XII studies.
Exceptional Performance from Economically Disadvantaged Backgrounds
The institute's success story becomes even more remarkable when considering the socioeconomic backgrounds of its students. Teachers at Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan revealed that many of the successful candidates come from families of farmers and daily-wage laborers, making these results particularly significant for educational equity in Uttar Pradesh. Among the top performers who scored above the 90th percentile are Piyush Ram Tripathi from Gorakhpur, Shashi Prakash Kushwaha from Chandauli, Anshuman Pandey from Pratapgarh, and Atharva Srivastava from Rae Bareli.
Inclusive Education Model with Comprehensive Support
Ranjiv Tiwari, secretary of Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan and an IIT-BHU alumnus, emphasized that these results reflect the institution's unwavering commitment to providing quality education and competitive exam preparation completely free of cost to deserving students. "Our model proves that with proper support and guidance, students from economically weaker sections can compete and excel at the highest levels," Tiwari stated.
The institution, which operates under the Bhaurao Deoras Seva Nyas and is managed by BHU alumni as a service-oriented educational initiative, offers a comprehensive support system for selected students from low-income families. This includes:
- Free coaching for IIT-JEE and NEET examinations
- Value-based education for Classes XI and XII
- Boarding and lodging facilities
- Computer and internet access
- Regular academic guidance and mentorship
Gender Inclusivity and Long-Term Impact
Adding to the institution's distinction, three girls from the institute's Balika Prakalp initiative also cleared JEE Main in their first attempt, demonstrating the success of their gender-inclusive approach to STEM education. Professor Sourabh Malviya, associated with the institute, explained that Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan has been operating in Arjunganj since 2019 with strong community support and has established itself as a beacon of educational opportunity in the region.
The long-term impact of the institute's work is evident in its alumni network. According to official data, more than 60 former students are currently pursuing BTech and MBBS courses at reputed institutions across India, creating a positive cycle of educational advancement and social mobility.
Expert-Led Coaching and Future Admissions
The free coaching program is conducted under the guidance of IIT-BHU alumnus Aditya Kumar and his dedicated team of educators who bring both academic excellence and teaching expertise to the classroom. This professional approach to coaching, combined with the institute's holistic educational environment, has proven to be a winning formula for student success.
Looking ahead, the admission process for the 2026-27 academic session will commence on May 1, 2024, for eligible Class XI aspirants. The institute continues to focus on identifying and nurturing talent from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, with the goal of creating more success stories in the years to come.
Mahamana Shikshan Sansthan's achievement serves as a powerful testament to how targeted educational interventions can transform lives and create pathways to professional success for students who might otherwise lack access to quality coaching and resources.
