Mandya District Achieves Historic High in PUC Exam Results
Mandya district has delivered an outstanding performance in the second Pre-University College (PUC) examinations, achieving a remarkable pass percentage of 88.8% and securing the 12th rank across the state of Karnataka. This result represents a significant milestone for the district, showcasing steady academic progress and dedicated efforts from the educational community.
Consistent Improvement in Rankings and Performance
Compared to the previous year, Mandya has advanced two positions in the state rankings, reflecting the unwavering commitment of students, teachers, and institutions. Over recent years, the district has demonstrated a clear upward trajectory in academic outcomes. In 2022, Mandya recorded a pass percentage of 58.7% and held the 27th position. The following year saw substantial growth, with the pass rate rising to 77.4% and the district climbing to the 20th rank.
In 2024, although the pass percentage increased further to 80.5%, Mandya experienced a slight setback, dropping to the 24th position due to stronger performances by other districts. However, in 2025, the district rebounded impressively, reaching the 14th rank with a pass percentage of 73.2%, even as overall results dipped statewide.
Record-Breaking Achievement in Recent History
This year's result of 88.8% is particularly noteworthy as it marks the highest pass percentage recorded by Mandya district in the last two decades. Excluding the Covid-19 pandemic year of 2021, when all students were promoted and the district showed a 100% result, this stands as the best academic performance in Mandya's recent history. Previously, the highest pass percentage was 80.5% in 2024, though the district ranked 24th at that time. Thus, the current achievement sets a new academic benchmark, solidifying Mandya's reputation for educational excellence.
