Journey of Determination and Support

Netravathi's journey back to education began last year during a visit to her daughter's college, where she expressed her desire to continue her studies. "I registered as a private candidate. The faculty supported me, and so did my husband. I prepared alongside my daughter, who was studying the same subjects," she said. Her husband, Ravikumar, who is the headmaster of Nandavara Government Primary School, had earlier encouraged her to pursue studies after marriage, but she had postponed it. "When she expressed her interest this time, I readily supported her decision. Both my wife and daughter studied together with the support of Government PU College teaching staff. I have now encouraged her to pursue further studies and do graduation," he added.

Institutional Encouragement

Yusuf Vittal, principal of Government PU College, confirmed that Netravathi expressed her desire to continue her studies, and the teaching faculty wholeheartedly supported her. He also praised Hemashree for her outstanding performance as a class topper. This collaborative effort between family and institution underscores the importance of a supportive environment in achieving educational success.

The story of Netravathi and Hemashree serves as an inspiration to many, proving that it is never too late to chase one's academic aspirations. Their achievement not only celebrates personal victory but also promotes the value of lifelong learning and familial encouragement in the education sector.
