This sports facility was developed utilizing the Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) funds allocated to Rajya Sabha member Akhilesh Prasad Singh.
Remote Inauguration Ceremony Highlights
The inauguration was conducted remotely by Singh through the ceremonial unveiling of a plaque. The event took place in the college's Satyendra Narayan Sinha Auditorium and commenced with traditional lamp lighting, followed by renditions of the college song and a welcome song.
College Principal Rekha Rani extended a warm welcome to all attendees and emphasized the critical importance of sports for students' physical fitness, mental well-being, and comprehensive personal development.
Additional Funding Commitment Announced
During his address as chief guest, Akhilesh Prasad Singh expressed deep emotional connections to the institution and made a substantial announcement. He pledged an additional ₹60 lakh from his MPLAD funds specifically earmarked for further development projects at Anugrah Narayan College.
Singh assured continued support for the college's growth and expansion initiatives, highlighting his commitment to educational excellence in the region.

The program was presided over by Upendra Prasad Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Patliputra University, while Shashi Pratap Shahi, Vice-Chancellor of Magadh University, attended as special guest.
