Preparation Strategy and Success Mantra

Sharing her preparation methodology with TOI, Pooja revealed that her goal has always been to join administrative services and contribute to public welfare. She began her civil services preparation immediately after completing her graduation.

"Instead of collecting excessive study material, I focused on limited and relevant syllabus-based preparation," Pooja explained. "The key mantra for my success was studying the defined syllabus and consistent writing practice."

This disciplined approach, emphasizing quality over quantity in study materials and regular writing practice, proved instrumental in her outstanding performance.

School Pride and Recognition

Lucknow Public School (LPS) celebrated Pooja's achievement with immense pride across their social media platforms and official website. The school's statement read: "The LPS (CP Singh Foundation) family celebrates a moment of immense pride as we congratulate our alumna, Pooja Tiwari (Batch 2015-16, Sector D, LDA Colony), for her spectacular achievement."

LPS manager Lokesh Singh added: "Pooja's journey from our classrooms to the elite ranks of state leadership is an inspiration for every student. Her success proves that with resilience and vision, no goal is out of reach."

Other LU Alumni Excel in PCS Examination

Pooja's achievement was part of a broader success story involving several Lucknow University alumni who performed exceptionally well in the same examination.

  • Preeti Singh, who completed both BSc and MSc from LU, secured the 56th rank. She emphasized: "Active recall and passive reading, multiple revision, taking as many tests as one can both at the pre-and the mains level is the key to success in this examination."
  • Arpit Singh, who earned his master's degree in geography from the university, has been selected for the post of assistant commissioner with the 73rd rank. He shared his philosophy: "All I did was hard work. My success mantra was 'Don't cheat yourself, destiny will take you forward'. It's due to this belief that I have bagged 73rd rank."
  • Anamika Bajpai, another LU alumna who studied social work at the university, has also made the cut for the assistant commissioner position.

University Leadership Hails Achievements

LU Vice-Chancellor JP Saini praised the accomplishments of these students, stating: "The achievements of these students proves the university's academic quality and discipline. Their success will inspire students. We are hopeful that in the future too our students will continue to contribute to the service of the state and the nation in this very spirit."

The collective success of these candidates highlights the strong educational foundation provided by Lucknow's institutions and serves as motivation for future generations of civil service aspirants across Uttar Pradesh.
