RBSE Class 10 Board Exam Results Anticipated on March 23 in Ajmer

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is poised to announce the results of the Class 10 board examinations on March 23, according to official sources in Ajmer. This announcement comes after a slight delay from the initially planned date of March 20, as verification processes are still ongoing.

Verification Work Causes Delay in Result Declaration

Board officials confirmed that the results were originally scheduled for release on March 20. However, the extensive verification work, including data collection, checking, and re-verification, necessitated a postponement. "We are almost ready to declare the result, and due to holidays, we are expecting to release the result of Class 10 on March 23," stated an official source. This meticulous approach ensures accuracy and fairness for all students.

Strategic Shift: Class 10 Results Before Class 12

In a notable change, the RBSE will declare the Class 10 results first, followed by the Class 12 results. This decision aligns with the early start of the new academic session in April. "This decision was taken because the new academic session this year was directed to start early from April, therefore the students who pass Class 10 can join the new academic session without delay," explained an official. This move aims to facilitate a smoother transition for students into higher education.

Exam Participation and Future Plans

Approximately 10.68 lakh students participated in the Class 10 examinations, which commenced on February 12. Looking ahead, the RBSE is planning to introduce biannual board exams for Class 10 starting from the next academic session. "From next academic session, we are preparing to conduct the Class 10 board exams twice a year, with the first exam proposed in February 2027 and the second in May. We have already released the pattern and syllabus of the exams," added the official source. This initiative is designed to reduce student stress and provide more opportunities for improvement.

The board remains committed to maintaining high standards in education assessment, with the upcoming result declaration marking a critical milestone for thousands of students across Rajasthan.
